SeeKar is a mobile AR game developed for seniors.
Seekar is my bachelor’s thesis Implementation of a Location-Based Game with AR Features for Elderly People.
It is a mobile AR game designed specifically for seniors, aimed at encouraging them to go outside from home and engage in physical activities. The game guides players to the nearest park from their homes and features randomly generated animals, so players can interact with or bring them home. This not only helps alleviate loneliness among older adults but also promotes subconscious physical exercise for maintaining fitness. Additionally, Seekar incorporates safety warnings to ensure players remain aware of their surroundings, preventing them from becoming overly absorbed in their screens.
